Peralta Ties For Fourth, Bobcats Tie For Sixth At Delaware Invitational

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Quinnipiac women's golf finished the Delaware Invitational tied for sixth place out of 12 teams, led by Leeyen Peralta's tie for fourth place.
After QU ended the first day of the tournament in seventh place after shooting 611 (+35), the Bobcats shot a 306 (+18) to tie with Navy for sixth place.
Peralta led the Bobcats after two days, shooting 78 (+6) on day two and finished tied for fourth place overall. Peralta carded a 220 (+4) in three rounds to finish the Delaware Invitational.
Kaylee Sakoda finished in a tie for 18th place after she shot a 76 (+4) in the final round, for a total of 227 (+11). Fuge Zhang shot a 71 (-1) in the final round to finish the tournament tied for 33rd.
Meg Yoshida and Aimee Uchida round out Quinnipiac's grouping as they finished in a tie for 63rd and 66th place, respectively. Yoshida carded a +9 (81) in the final 18, and a 245 (+29) total. Uchida shot a +10 (82) in the third and final round.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Monday, Oct.24, when they open play at the Lehigh Invitational in Bethlehem, PA at the Saucon Valley Country Club.
