Fujita Leads Bobcats After Day Two of NCAA Regionals

Ann Arbor, MI. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team finished day two with a team total of 310 (+26), giving them a two-day total score of 619 (+51) at the Ann Arbor Regional in Michigan.

Sophia Fujita had a great day, climbing 17 spots up the leaderboard with a 72 (+1) in the second round of the regional. Fujita will head into the final round of the tournament with a score of 148 (+6).

Natalie Spiska closed out her second round with a 79 (+8), giving her a tournament total score of 152 (+10) as she heads into the final day.

Vaidehi Shah and Samantha Galantini sit with the same tournament total (160, +18) after the second round of the Ann Arbor Regional. Shah shot an 82 (+11) on the second day, while Galantini carded a 78 (+7).

Marisa Flores rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping with an 81 (+10) in the second round, giving her a total score of 163 (+21).

The Bobcats will be back in action for round three of the NCAA Regionals tomorrow, May 13^th, with the tee times ranging from 8:55 AM – 9:39 AM.

SCORES AND NOTES

Quinnipiac closed out the first round of the NCAA Regional with a team total score of 309 (+25). The Bobcats will head into the final round with a total score of 619 (+51).
Sophia Fujita had the best round of any Bobcat on day two, shooting a 72 (+1) on the day. Fujita's second round is the best round of any Bobcat across the two days so far.
Natalie Spiska is tied for eighth in the field with seven birdies across two days.
