Bobcats Wrap Up Day 1 of Ann Arbor Regional

Ann Arbor, MI. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team closed out day one of the Ann Arbor Regional with a first-round score of 309 (+25) at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

Natalie Spiska was Quinnipiac's highest finisher after the first round, as she sits in the top 30 with a score of 73 (+2). Spiska had a stellar start, shooting a 33 (-2) on the back nine to open play at the NCAA Regionals.

Sophia Fujita closed out the first round of her second NCAA Regional appearance with a total score of 76 (+5). Fujita started the round with a 36 (+1) on the first nine holes (started on hole ten).

Vaidehi Shah had a nice day, shooting a 78 (+7) in the first round of the Ann Arbor Regional in Michigan. Marisa Flores and Samantha Galantini rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping with a first-round score of 82 (+11).

The Bobcats will be back in action for round two of the NCAA Regionals tomorrow, May 12^th, with the tee times ranging from 8:55 AM – 9:39 AM.

SCORES AND NOTES

Quinnipiac closed out the first round of the NCAA Regional with a team total score of 309 (+25).
Natalie Spiska had the best round of any Bobcat on day one, shooting a 73 (+2) on Monday.
Spiska was tied for third in the field with five birdies on day one.
