Outdoor Track & Field Ready to Take on Rider 5-Way Meet

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac outdoor track & field team is set to travel to Lawrenceville, N.J., for the Rider 5-Way Meet on Saturday, April 5. The Bobcats are coming off a third-place team finish at the UConn Spring Invite.

Last Time Out - Highlights
The Bobcats finished in third out of four teams at the UConn Spring Invite on Saturday, March 27. Quinnipiac had two student-athletes break school records at UConn - graduate student Mikah Maples tallied a 13.20m throw in the shot put and senior Britney Del Mundo recorded a 11.57m mark in the triple jump. Maples also finished second in the discus throw (40.63m). Junior Symone Foster won the 100m hurdle event with a time of 14.10m. Junior Kalli'ana Botelho took third in the 100m hurdles (14.90) and fourth in the high jump (1.60m). UConn took first in the meet, followed my Army, Quinnipiac and Northeastern.
Coming Up
The Bobcats are scheduled to compete at UMass and Southern Conneciticut State next week, followed by Monmouth on April 18.
Around the MAAC
Siena will also be competing at Rider this weekend. Niagara and Canisius will be back in action on Monday, April 5 at the Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks Mini Meet.
