Quinnipiac Completes Competition at UMass

AMHERST, Mass. — The Quinnipiac track and field program competed at the UMass Ken O'Brien Pre-Championship Invite on Saturday afternoon, held at UMass' campus in Amherst. It was part of a split-team weekend with athletes also competing at the Penn Relays.
Avery Palmucci claimed top spot in the 5000m race, finishing in 17:06.27 as part of four Bobcats in the top 12 of the event. Quinnipiac also recorded a pair of other podium finishes, with Abby Bossdorf claiming second in the 3000m Steeplechase and Grace McQueeney marking third in the long jump.
TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
The Bobcats have one meet remaining before the MAAC Outdoor Championships and it will be held at Northeastern on May 2.
