Bobcats Break Two School Records on Senior Day

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac University women's track and field program honored its seniors on Saturday, celebrating its graduating class in its yearly trip to the Mark T. Young Invitational at Yale.
Five Bobcats were able to take home victories on the day, with Izzie Anzaldo winning three of those by taking the top time in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 4x100 relay races. She ran 11.82 in the 100m, a school-record 23.87 in the 200m and anchored the 4x100 relay with a time of 45.86 which set a new school mark as well.
The other relay also took home the victory, with Isabella Pistoia, Madelyn Durkee, Elise Barricelli and Claire O'Sullivan finishing in 3:59.13 in the 4x400 relay.
Talia Graham claimed the fifth win, marking 3.75m in the pole vault. She cleared her first four attempts, hitting 3.40, 3.55, 3.65 and 3.75 meters.

The Penn Relays and UMass Amherst Invite await for the Bobcats, as select student-athletes will compete in the nationally-acclaimed meet at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field starting on Thursday, April 23.
The UMass Invite will be competed on Saturday, April 25.

- Anzaldo ran the first sub-24 in the 200m in program history, besting Aisha Gay's program record from 2022. She improved her PR by 0.58 seconds.
- She also joined Nyasia Dailey, Kiera Baxter and Michelle Tota to finish the 4x100 relay in 45.86 seconds, a new school record.
- Graham matched her previous outdoor best that she also hit at Bucknell a week ago, marking 3.75m in the pole vault.
- Lala Olagundoye jumped into a tie for third in the triple jump, marking 11.42m in her second attempt en route to a third place finish.
- Riley Moylan also hit her high mark in her second attempt, hitting 11.19m which is good for fourth on the program's charts.
- Meghan Stellhorn recorded the longest hammer throw since 2019 in program history, hitting 34.04m in her third and final attempt.
