
Bobcats in the Pros: Men's Basketball

HAMDEN, Conn. – Seven former Quinnipiac men's basketball players are currently finding success overseas during the 2020-21 season.
The Bobcats' program is presently being represented in professional basketball leagues in Spain, France, Georgia, Ukraine, and Hungary.
Abdulai Bundu ('19)
Team: Olimpi Tbilisi
League: Georgian Basketball Super League
Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
Since graduating from Quinnipiac in 2019, Bundu has played in 16 games for Olimpi Tbilisi in Georgia's capital. He plays alongside former Bobcats' teammate Donovan Smith ('16).
Most recently, Bundu has recorded 8.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in 2020-21. He's played in 13 games this season for Olimpi Tbilisi, making seven starts. Bundu has logged 23.6 minutes per game, shooting 46.8 percent from the floor. He also played in three games for the program in 2019-20.
Bundu finished his Quinnipiac career with 720 points and 686 rebounds, becoming just the fourth player in Quinnipiac's Division I program history to record 600 points and 600 rebounds – joining Ousmane Drame (2011-15), Ike Azotam (2010-14) and Justin Rutty (2007-11).
The forward played in 124 career games, which ranks tied for third all-time in QU history. Bundu averaged 5.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 2018-19, shooting 61.7 percent from the floor.
Drame returned to Pau-L-Orthez in 2020-21, recording 7.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game (47.5 percent shooting).
Last year (2019-20), Drame recorded 8.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest for Pau-L-Orthez before joining BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque. He then registered 10.0 points and 6.7 rebounds a contest for BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque.
Drame's professional career began in 2015-16 in Spain (6.9 PPG, 4.1 RPG). He then played in Turkey in 2016-17 (14.8 PPG, 11.5 RPG), saw action in five games for the Westchester Knicks (an NBA G League affiliate) in 2017-18 before playing the rest of the season in Israel, then headed to Latvia in 2018-19 (15.9 PPG, 7.3 RPG).
Drame finished his Quinnipiac career with 1,361 points (No. 16 in program history) and 1,108 rebounds (No. 2 in program history). He is a two-time All-NEC Second Team selection, averaging 13.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game as a junior in 2013-14, and 14.9 points and 11.2 rebounds a night during his senior season in 2014-15.
Falzon – a graduate transfer for the Bobcats in 2019-20 – previously played six games for Etoile Angers in France in the NM1 division. He posted 8.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game for his second pro team, shooting 46.5 percent from the field.
The 2020-21 season marks Feldeine's 11th year overseas as a professional player. The two-time All-NEC First Team selection has played with eight different professional programs following his graduation from QU.

Feldeine has played in 329 games as a pro since graduating from Quinnipiac in 2010. He averaged 17.0 points per game at Quinnipiac as a junior in 2008-09, and 16.5 points per game in 2009-10 as a senior. He scored 1,320 points in his career with the Bobcats, which ranks 20th all-time in program history.
Hearst is in his sixth season as a professional, playing in over 125 games overseas. He's recorded 10+ points per game in five straight seasons, including 20.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 2016-17 while with Araberri Basket Club in Spain.
He posted 17.8 points per game in 2017-18 (Spain), 14.9 points per game in 2018-19 (Lithuania), and 15.5 points per game in 2019-20 (France)
Hearst – a First Team All-MAAC selection during his senior season in 2014-15 – finished his Quinnipiac career with 1,610 points, the 12th-highest point total in program history. Hearst averaged 15.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game as a junior for the Bobcats, then 18.3 points and 6.1 rebounds as a senior.
Smith has recorded 12.0 points and 6.3 rebounds per game in three contests, starting twice for Olimpi Tbilisi. He's shot an impressive 59.1 percent from the floor. 2020-21 marks his fourth season overseas as a pro.
Smith spent the 2019-20 professional season with CSM Focșani in Romania. He led the team in scoring (19.4 PPG) and rebounds (9.6 RPG) in 30.1 minutes per contest, finishing second in the entire league in scoring.
The Chicago-native recorded 7.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest as a junior at Quinnipiac in 2015-16, then averaged 7.0 points and 5.4 rebounds a night as a senior in 2016-17.

He spent his first season as a pro in Cantù, Italy playing for Pallacanestro Cantù. The Los Angeles, California-native scored 9.5 points per game last year in the LBA – a professional league that has existed in Italy since 1920 and is comprised of the first and highest-tier level of competition in the country. Young has added 25 made three-pointers, playing in just under 23 minutes a night.
Young was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA in May of 2018, then became Quinnipiac's first AP All-American and the 2018-2019 MAAC Player of the Year.

Falzon has played for two professional programs since leaving Quinnipiac in 2020.
