Eight Different Bobcats Find the Back of the Net
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell to Binghamton, 10-8 on Saturday afternoon in Hamden. Eight different Bobcats recorded a goal for Quinnipiac in the loss.
Senior goalkeeper Allie Kelsey was strong in net as the Barrington, R.I. native made 12 saves and recorded a .545 save percentage. The senior netminder made nine of her 12 saves in the first half.

HIGHLIGHTS
- The Bearcats scored the first goal of the game, but Quinnipiac answered back with three straight goals to give them an early 3-1 lead.
- Senior attacker Megan Szawlowski recorded two first half points. She scored the Bobcats' first goal and then assisted a Desiree Kleberg goal, which gave the Bobcats a 5-2 lead in the first half.
- The Bobcats took a 6-5 lead into the half.
- Binghamton went on an extended 6-0 that continued after halftime to give them a 9-6 lead with less than 10 minutes left in the 2nd half.
- The Bobcats answered that Binghamton run with two goals within :36 seconds of each other. Senior attacker Ashley Bobinski scored her third goal of the season, and then first-year midfielder Emily Feeney supplied the quick answer as she netted her fourth goal of the season to get the Bobcats within one, 9-8.
- Sophomore midfielder Gabby Beckett led all Bobcats with three draw controls.
- Senior's Brianna Fitzgerald and Megan Szawlowski led the Bobcats with two caused turnovers.
- Sophomore midfielder Maddie Deegan led all Quinnipiac players with three ground balls.
- Szawlowski recorded her sixth consecutive multi-point game.
- Binghamton outshot the Bobcats 30-23, including a 22-19 edge in shots on goal.
- Quinnipiac won the ground ball battle, 16-11.
- The Bobcats recorded 16 successful clears, compared to Binghamton's 13.
- Binghamton recorded 12 draw controls comparted to the Bobcats eight.
- The Bobcats head down south as they take on Old Dominion on Wednesday, March 11 at 1 p.m.
