DiMuccio Makes Career-High 21 Saves
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse dropped a non-conference contest at Brown on Saturday afternoon by the final score of 11-7 from Stevenson-Pincince Field.
Sophomore Nick DiMuccio made a career-high 21 stops in front of the cage. He now has 47 saves over his first three contests this year after finishing 2019 ranked inside the Top 5 nationally in stops per contest.
Four Bobcats' players recorded two points for Quinnipiac, as first-year attacks John DeLucia and Jake Tellers each scored twice to lead the balanced offensive attack. Jake Tomsik and Matt Miller each chipped in with a goal and an assist for QU.

- Jake Tomsik now has a team-best eight points this year (four goals, four assists). He's recorded at least one goal and one helper in each of the Bobcats' three games.
- With two goals in the loss, John DeLucia now has a team-high seven scores over his first three collegiate games
- Jake Tellers' two goals are a season-high. The first-year attach has four goals and two helpers for six total points in 2020.
- Matt Miller added one goal and one helper to stretch his season point total to six.
- Dimitri George added a goal, winning the opening faceoff and scoring just 12 seconds into action.
- Shots on goal were 32-18 in favor of Brown, and the Bears won 13-of-20 total draws.
- Both teams went 20-for-23 on clear attempts.
- The Bobcats scored on two of four extra man opportunities.
- The Bobcats are back on the road next weekend, traveling to Vermont on Saturday, Feb. 22 for a 12:00 p.m. non-conference matchup.
