Women's Basketball Alumnae Hired in New Role
HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's basketball head coach Tricia Fabbri has announced the hiring of former student-athlete Morgan Manz '17, who will serve as the team's director of program development and operations beginning immediately.
"I am very excited to be back at the Q," said Manz. "Quinnipiac has always felt like home to me and I am so happy to be back at a place that has given me so much and has helped mold me into the person I am today. I am looking forward to working under those that I have always looked up to and it's exciting to get to learn from them. I am also looking forward to working with players and helping to continue to build this incredible program."

Individual women's basketball game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 23 at 10 a.m. Fans are encouraged to contact the Quinnipiac Ticket Office at (203) 582-3905 with inquiries regarding season tickets and group ticketing options.

"It was important to me with this hire to have that Bobcat DNA," said Fabbri, "know the program's standard of excellence in the classroom, community, and on the court. Morgan obviously was one of our finest as a player and now has an opportunity to make her mark on our coaching staff!"
Manz, a two-time Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) champion, was a member of the 2016-17 Sweet 16 team, as well as the first MAAC Championship team in school history in 2014-15. The Southbury, Conn. native played in 111 games for Fabbri's squad and set the program's division I single-season record for three-point field goal percentage in 2015-16, shooting 45.1 percent from behind the arc. Her six three-pointers in 2017's NCAA Tournament victory over Miami are tied for the most in a single game in program history."I am very excited to be back at the Q," said Manz.
