STORRS, Conn.- The Quinnipiac softball team dropped a hard-fought 11-inning single game against UConn, 2-1. The Huskies came back to score its first run of the game in the sixth inning and finished the game with a walk-off single.

Scoring Plays
Fourth Inning- Senior Erin Larsen was hit by a pitch to lead off the fourth inning for Quinnipiac. Freshman Alexis Oterothen hit a double to left center to allow Larsen to score the first run of the game. The Bobcats would go into the bottom of the fourth with a 1-0 lead over the Huskies.

UConntied the game in the sixth inning on one run after freshman Lauren King threw a wild pitch. The Huskies then scored in the 11thinning with a walk-off single to win the game, 2-1.

Highlights

Freshman Hannah Davis went 2-4 with one double.
Senior Kendall Brundrett pitched 6.1 innings, giving up five hits.
Freshman Lauren King came in to relieve Brundrettand pitched 4.1 innings with two strikeouts.
