
Baseball's Final Game at UNC Greensboro Cancelled

Bobcats Rained Out in Series Finale, Travel to Wake Forest Next Weekend
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Due to inclement weather, the Quinnipiac baseball game at UNC Greensboro has been cancelled. Sunday's game will not be made up.
The Bobcats went 0-2 in the first weekend of competition with losses Friday and Saturday.
Of note on the weekend, Liam Scafariello (Southington, Connecticut) broke the Division I program record with 32 home runs, surpassing a tie with Ben Gibson '18 at 31 coming into the weekend.
Quinnipiac returns to the field next weekend beginning Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m. against Elon followed by a 4 p.m. game against #20 Wake Forest. The Bobcats wrap up the weekend with a single game against the Demon Deacons next Sunday at 10 a.m. All three games will be played David F. Couch Ballpark on the Wake Forest campus in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
