SCORING SUMMARY
- 15:01, 1st (Quinnipiac 1, Clarkson 0): Kevin Duane put the Bobcats on the board with his third goal of the season off a shot from the boards that caromed off a skate and past Clarkson goalie Jake Kielly. Andrew Shortridge (Alaska, Anchorage) picked up assist when he cleared the puck to Tanner MacMaster (Calgary, Alberta) in the neutral zone. MacMaster stick-handled before sending the puck deep into the Clarkson zone. Duane picked up the puck along the boards, turned and threw it on goal to put the Bobcats out in front, 1-0.
- 18:30, 1st (Clarkson 1, Quinnipiac 1): Kelly Summers' shot from the point was stopped by Shortridge and steered to the opposite corner. Nico Sturm picked it up and fed Devin Brosseau in the slot for the one-timer. Shortridge denied Brosseau but Summers picked up the rebound on the back door and potted his sixth of the season to tie the game at 1-1.
- 00:27, 2nd (Clarkson 2, Quinnipiac 1): Sturm scored on a wrister from the slot off a pass from Sheldon Rempal to give Clarkson a one-goal lead, less than 30 seconds into the second period.
- 10:07, 2nd (Clarkson 3, Quinnipiac 1): Brosseau scored after skating behind the Bobcats' defense and receiving a pass from Rempal before walking across the crease and beating Shortridge with the back hand to give Clarkson a 3-1 lead.
- 17:06, 2nd (Quinnipiac 2, Clarkson 3): On the power play, Chase Priskie's (Pembroke Pines, Florida) one-timer from the face-off dot beat Jake Kielly top-shelf to pull the Bobcats within a goal in the closing minutes of the middle frame. Odeen Tufto (Chaska, Minnesota) and Brandon Fortunato (North Hills, New York) picked up assists on the play.
- 19:46, 3rd (Clarkson 4, Quinnipiac): Nico Sturm scored the empty-netter with 14-seconds remaining in regulation.
NOTES
- MacMaster's assist on Duane's goal was his 18th of the season while it also gives him his 30th point of the year.
- Shortridge's assist was the first point of his career, while he also becomes the first Quinnipiac goalie to record a point since Michael Garteig's two-assist season in 2015-16.
- Priskie's goal was his ninth of the season and his team-leading seventh on the power play.
- Tufto's assist on Priskie's goal was his team-leading 31st of the season and his 39th point of the year. Tufto's 31 assists tie Bryan Leitch and Matthew Peca for the second-most freshman assists in Quinnipiac's Division I history, and trails Brian Herbert's 32 for the single-season record.
