HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer completes its 2018 regular season schedule on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Monmouth in conference action from the Quinnipiac Soccer Stadium in Hamden.
PLAYOFF PICTURE
- With a 7-1-1 record in MAAC play (22 points), the Bobcats have already clinched one of the top two seeds in the 2018 MAAC Tournament. Quinnipiac has earned a first-round bye in the postseason tournament.
- Fairfield (23 points) is the only team currently ahead of the Bobcats. The Stags square off with Manhattan on Wednesday in their final contest of the regular season.

- Rashawn Dally (Bloomfield, Conn.) scored his third goal of the season in the 53rdminute of action on Saturday night, leading Quinnipiac men's soccer past Marist on the road in MAAC action.
- Jared Mazzola (Kahtonah, N.Y.) made a season-high nine saves in the win, earning his second straight shutout.
- With the win, the Bobcats (22 points) move in to sole possession of second place in the MAAC standings, just one point behind Fairfield (23 points, 7-0-2 MAAC) with one game left in the regular season.

- The goalkeeper has posted a 0.79 goals-against average in his first year with the program.
- Mazzola has recorded 4.7 saves per contest so far in 2018, which ranks No. 26 nationally.

- Junior Conor McCoy (Newry, Northern Ireland) was named to the 2018 Preseason All-MAAC Team, the conference announced on Aug. 14.
- The Bobcats were picked to finish fourth by the league's head coaches.
- Quinnipiac head coach Eric Da Costa named the program's leadership council for 2018, which includes senior Derek Parker (Cromwell, Conn.), senior Matthew Taylor (Dublin, Ireland), junior Conor McCoy (Newry, Northern Ireland), sophomore Paulo Soares (Quincy, MA), and sophomore Simon Hillinger (Ditzingen, Germany).
