The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team returns to ECAC play this weekend as they host the No.4 Colgate Raiders and No. 5 Cornell Big Red. These will be the first conference match-ups for the Bobcats since Dec. 8-9, when they faced the Tigers of Princeton in a home-and-home series. Since then, Quinnipiac defeated the Korean national women's hockey team on Dec. 28 in an exhibition game, 3-2. The Bobcats also faced Yale on Tuesday, January 2, and were defeated by the Bulldogs, 1-0. in non-conference action.

- The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team faced the Yale Bulldogs in non-conference play on Tuesday night at Ingalls Rink in New Haven, Connecticut. They were defeated 1-0.
- Quinnipiac outshot Yale 37-18, including 14-2 in the first period and 15-4 in the third period.
- Freshman Allison Small (Nestleton, Ontario) made 17 saves in her fifth appearance.
- Junior Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) led the Bobcats in shots-on-goal with five.
- Quinnipiac last took the ice during a home-and-home series with Princeton on December 8-9.
- The Bobcats split the set with the Tigers, losing 3-0 at the Hobey Baker Rink on Friday the 8th, and winning at home on the 9th, 3-1.
- Freshman Taylor House scored the game-winning goal for the Bobcats in the 2nd period.

- Quinnipiac improved to 9-1-1 in games that they score first.
