HAMDEN, Conn. – No. 7 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey heads to Madison for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, marking the program's fifth NCAA postseason appearance.
The Bobcats will face Franklin Pierce on Thursday, Mar. 12 at 8 p.m. EDT for the Regional Semifinals. The winner will advance to play No. 2 Wisconsin on Saturday, Mar. 14 at 2 p.m. EDT.
Games will be streamed live on ESPN+ and TSN+.

SCOUTING FRANKLIN PIERCE
- The Ravens captured their second NEWHA championship last weekend after knocking off Saint Anselm 2-0.
- With the automatic bid, Franklin Pierce is making their first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
- Sophomore Caleigh Murphy leads the team in goals (17), assists (18), and points (35).
- Goaltender Jill Hertl has led time on ice starting 28 games with an 18-7-2 record. Hertl holds a 0.955 SV% and 1.62 GAA in her senior campaign.
ECAC CHAMPS
- For the first time since 2016, the Bobcats won the ECAC Hockey Championships, defeating No. 1 seed Yale 5-1.
- The tournament was also historic, marking the first time the women's championship was played at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid.
- Goaltender Felicia Frank was named Most Outstanding Player after recording 61 saves and allowing just two goals. Frank was also named to the All-Tournament Team alongside Avery Bairos, Makayla Watson, and Zoe Uens.
- Avery Bairos tallied two goals over the weekend, including the OT game winner against No. 2 Princeton. Those marked her 3rd and 4th career goals.
- First-year Ella Johnson recorded two goals against Yale, her first collegiate multi-goal performance.
TOP 10 PATTY KAZ
- Forward Kahlen Lamarche has been named a top-10 finalist for the 2026 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. This is the first time the junior has earned this honor.
- Lamarche has recorded 42 goals and 20 assists for 62 points this season.
- Within the last month, Lamarche broke Quinnipiac's Division I single-season records for both goals and points, previously held by Kelly Babstock '14 that had stood for 15 years.
- She has recorded 17 points over her last eight games, seven of which were multi-point games.
- Lamarche reached 100 points and 50 career goals on 1/9 at RPI.
- She earned ECAC Forward of the Week three times this season (10/21, 11/4 & 3/3), as well as October & February Forward of the Month.
- Lamarche tallied two eight-point weekends this season, against Brown in the ECAC quarterfinals and against Northeastern, scoring seven goals and an assist each time. The most goals by any player (men's or women's) in a single weekend in at least seven years.
ALL-ECAC HONORS
- Sophomore Felicia Frank was awarded ECAC Goalie of the Year. She led the league in goals-against average (1.31), total saves (545), shutouts (6), and save percentage (.949) in conference play.
- Frank and junior forward Kahlen Lamarche were named to the All-ECAC Hockey First Team.
- Sophomore defender Makayla Watson was named to the All-ECAC Second Team.
- Lamarche and Watson have been named ECAC Forward and Defender of the Year finalists.
AMONG THE NATION'S BEST
- Junior Kahlen Lamarche is 1st in the NCAA in goals (42), tied for 1st in game-winning goals (8), and 3rd in points (62).
- Sophomore goaltender Felicia Frank is 1st in the NCAA in wins (28), 3rd in SHO (9), and 5th in GAA (1.51) and SV% (0.942) among those who have played 16+ games.

- Felicia Frank has been dominant in net, leading the Bobcats to 28 wins, including nine shutouts. She is currently the NCAA leader in wins.
- Frank has been named a top-3 finalist for the 2025-26 Women's Hockey Goalie of the Year award.
- She recorded a career-high 39 saves in a 4-0 shutout against Cornell on 1/24.
- The sophomore sits in 2nd on Quinnipiac's Division I single-season list in wins (28), tied for 3rd in single-season shutouts (9), and 6th in all-time career shutouts (13).
- Frank has earned ECAC Goaltender of the Week honors between 9/30-10/14, 11/11, and 1/27.
