GAME LINKS
Saturday's clash between two of the four lone remaining undefeated teams in MAAC play shapes up to be a good one as the Quinnipiac women's soccer team (5-4, 2-0 MAAC) travels to take on Marist (5-4-1, 2-0 MAAC) for a Noon start from Tenney Stadium. The Bobcats and Red Foxes have traded wins in their four seasons since Quinnipiac joined the league in 2013, as the home team has won every match. Quinnipiac most-recently scored a 3-0 home win over Marist last season but the Bobcats are winless in Poughkeepsie against the Red Foxes in MAAC regular season play, including a 3-2 double overtime heartbreaker that saw Marist pull out a game-winner with seven seconds remaining.
LAST GAME RECAP
The nation's second-highest scorer coming into Wednesday's match made her presence known as Nadya Gill netted the golden goal seven minutes into the first overtime period, giving the Bobcats a huge come-from-behind 2-1 home win over the Siena Saints. Gill's MAAC-leading ninth goal of the season and 10th career game-winning tally helped give the Bobcats their first-ever regular season MAAC victory over the Saints.
DOUBLING UP
Nadya Gill (Offensive Player of the Week) and Kelsey Goldring (Rookie of the Week) both won a MAAC weekly award as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Gill notched 10 points (three goals, four assists) through two games last week including a nine-point outburst in the 11-0 win over Saint Peter's last Saturday to become the first two-time MAAC Offensive Player of the Week award winner this season. Goldring, meanwhile, racked up seven points in the 11-goal win as she posted the second-most points in a single-game by a Bobcat rookie in program history.

- Gill notched her first career points in four all-time matches against Siena, recording an assist on Laura Nicholas' game-tying goal before supplying the heroics with the game-winner in overtime
- Gill's point streak is up to a career-high five straight games as she has amassed an incredible 19 points (seven goals, five assists) across that five-game span
- Gill is well on her way to entering the record books at Quinnipiac as she is seven points shy of entering the Top 10 highest single-season point total in program history while she already sits tied for 10th all-time with her seven assists in 2017
- As far as her career totals, Gill currently sits eighth all-time at Quinnipiac in career goals (26), tied for 11th in career assists (13) and 10th in career points (65)
- The Bobcats have five players (Gill, Kelsey Goldring, Madison Borowiec, Jess Gargan and Al Pelletier) who rank in the Top 100 in the nation in assists per game
- Kelsey Goldring sits 47th in the nation in points per game (1.56), giving her and Gill both a spot in the Top 50 in the nation's scoring list
- As a team, Quinnipiac's offense has been buzzing all season, currently sitting 10th in the nation in scoring offense (2.78 goals per game), second in assists per game (3.78) and fourth in points per game (9.33)
- Miraculously, Quinnipiac's offense has ranked first in the MAAC (currently 10th in the nation) all season despite averaging a mere 10.22 shots per game (258th in the nation, 8th in the MAAC)
- Nine different Bobcats have scored this season, including Laura Nicholas who notched her first career goal on Wednesday in the 2-1 win over Siena
- - The source of that offensive production has come all over the lineup as four Bobcats (Gill, Goldring, Borowiec and Pelletier) have at least 10 points apiece (all have at least three goals and four assists) through nine games
- All four of those aforementioned Bobcats lead the MAAC in points
- No team in MAAC history has had more than two players ranked consecutively atop the conference scoring total leaderboard at the end of a season
