Bobcats Set to Play in First Game on NESN in Program History
Quinnipiac Bobcats (3-3, 0-0 MAAC) at
Harvard Crimson (4-2, 0-0 Ivy League)
Wednesday, September 13, 2017 | 4:00 PM
Jordan Field | Cambridge, Mass.
Series: Harvard leads, 3-0
Last Meeting: L, 3-0 (Sept. 12, 2013)
GAME LINKS The Quinnipiac women's soccer team concludes non-conference play on Wednesday afternoon as the Bobcats travel to face Harvard in a game that can be seen live on NESN. Facing an Ivy League foe on the road for the second consecutive game (Bobcats fell at Dartmouth, 4-2, on Sunday), Quinnipiac faces another imposing challenge as Harvard enters Wednesday's game with a 4-2 mark and wins over Providence, St. John's and Boston College already this season. Winners of three Ivy League titles in the last four seasons and owners of the No. 4 ranking in the New England Soccer Journal poll, Harvard poses a great challenge to the Bobcats prior to the start of MAAC play on Saturday.
LAST GAME RECAP
Dartmouth used four first half tallies to power past Quinnipiac's comeback bid and claim the 4-2 win from Burnham Field. Nadya Gill scored a pair of second half goals as the Bobcats climbed back in the game towards the latter half of the second stanza but the multi-goal performance wasn't enough to overcome the Big Green's first half onslaught.

TOP STORYLINES
- Nadya Gill added two more goals in Sunday's 4-2 loss at Dartmouth to increase her team-leading total to five on the season
- Gill notched her third career multi-goal game in the loss as she continues to lead the MAAC in both points (12) and goals (five) in 2017
- Olivia Myszewski's 11 saves in the 3-1 loss to Miami are not only good enough for a career high but also stand as the most posted by a Quinnipiac keeper in a single-game since Kendra Margulies made 13 stops against Lehigh on Sept. 13, 2009
- Myszewski's 11 stops tied for the third-most by a Bobcat keeper in a single-game since the program joined the NCAA Div. I ranks in 1998
- Miami fired 32 shot attempts (14 on-goal) throughout last Sunday's match, signaling the most-ever by a Quinnipiac opponent in the Div. I era (previous high-mark was 26)
- Quinnipiac's offense has been clicking on all cylinders throughout 2017, leading the MAAC in scoring offense at 1.83 goals per game (11 goals in six games)
- The source of that offensive production has come all over the lineup as four Bobcats (Nadya Gill, Al Pelletier, Madison Borowiec and Kelsey Goldring) have at least six points apiece (all have at least two goals and two assists)
- Nadya Gill leads the team in scoring with 12 points (five goals, two assists) which has her atop the MAAC's point leaderboard while her three teammates Pelletier, Goldring and Borowiec are all tied for third in the conference in scoring this season
- No team in MAAC history has had more than two players ranked consecutively atop the conference scoring total leaderboard at the end of a season
- Quinnipiac saw their 11-game home win streak come to an end with the 3-1 loss to Miami. That 11-game run combining their undefeated 2016 home mark (9-0) with a perfect 2-0 to start 2017 gave the Bobcats their second-longest home winning streak in program history (record 12 straight home wins between 2000-01 seasons)
- Goldring and Borowiec are both enjoying breakthrough seasons as the pair have seven and six points, respectively, so far in 2017. Goldring pumped in the Bryant overtime game-winner as she has been a major contributor on offense after redshirting the 2016 campaign. Borowiec dished out two assists in the win over Bryant, good enough for her first career multi-assist game, as she has already matched her entire scoring output from the 2016 season
