HAMDEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac men's baseball team will look to bounce back this weekend as they return to MAAC play against the Niagara Purple Eagles this week in a three-game series. Quinnipiac is coming off mid-week loss against the Central Connecticut State University, 6-3. With the loss, the Bobcats snapped their three-game winning streak.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bobcats late-inning push to tie the game Wednesday was not enough as Quinnipiac lost to Central Connecticut, 6-3. The Bobcats were led by Mike Palladino (Rockville Centre, New York), who extended his on-base streak to 11 games with a double in top of the ninth inning. Liam Scafariello (Southington, Connecticut) followed Palladino's double by jolting a ball over the left field wall for his 11th home run on the year. However, the Bobcats wouldn't be able to muster up anymore magic, falling to the Blue Devils, 6-3.
