HAMDEN, Connecticut - Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey sophomore goalie Andrew Shortridge (Anchorage, Alaska) posted a 27-save shutout in a 0-0 tie against Dartmouth in an ECAC Hockey matchup at Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. With the tie, Quinnipiac moves to 6-8-2 overall and 3-5-1 in ECAC Hockey while Dartmouth goes to 2-6-1 overall and 2-4-1 in league play.

- Quinnipiac extended its unbeaten streak on its home ice against Dartmouth to nine games and stands at 8-0-1 in that span. The last game Quinnipiac lost to Dartmouth at home was Mar. 6, 2010 in the ECAC Hockey First Round, while the last regular-season win by the Big Green in Hamden was on Feb. 9, 2007.
- Bobcats' goalie Andrew Shortridge was rock-solid an a 27-save shutout against the Big Green. For the second-year netminder, it is his third shutout of the season and fourth of his career.
- Shortridge had back-to-back saves against Brown and Yale on Nov. 17-18, respectively.
- Shortridge is one of five goalies in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey, and one of two in ECAC Hockey, with three-or-more shutouts this season, to date. He moves to 5-6-2 overall with a 1.98 goals-against average and a .921 save percentage for the year.
- The highlight of Shortridge's performance was a seven-save display during a five-minute major early in the third period.
- The tie was Quinnipiac's third 0-0 final score, all-time, and its first since Nov. 25, 2016 against St. Lawrence at the Friendship Four tournament in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
- Quinnipiac senior Bo Pieper (Roseville, Minnesota) won 22-of-31 face-offs for the night.
- Karlis Cukste (Riga, Latvia) had four blocked shots in the game.
