2016 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship tournament top seed Quinnipiac will take on No. 3/2 North Dakota in the NCAA National Championship Game at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, Apr. 9 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

THE BOBCATS ALL-TIME IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
• 2016 marks Quinnipiac's fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history, including its fourth straight after advancing to the National Championship game in 2013.
• 2016 also marks Quinnipiac's second appearance in the NCAA Frozen Four and National Championship game, where they defeated St. Cloud State before losing to Yale in the National Championship game in 2013.
• Quinnipiac's first NCAA Tournament appearance came in 2002 when it won the MAAC Championship before losing to Cornell in the NCAA First Round game, 6-1, in Worcester, Mass.
• The 2013 NCAA Tournament saw the Bobcats earn the No. 1 overall seed and win three straight games to advance to the program's first Frozen Four and finish as the National Runner-up to Yale in the Championship game.
• In 2014, Quinnipiac lost in the tournament's opening game, 4-0, to Providence in the East Regional in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
• In 2015, the Bobcats lost to North Dakota, 4-1, in the West Regional in Fargo, North Dakota.
• With a 4-0 win against RIT on Saturday night and a 4-1 win against UMass Lowell on Sunday night, the Bobcats improved to 5-4 all-time in the NCAA Tournament.
NCAA FROZEN FOUR SEMIFINALS: QUINNIPIAC 3, BOSTON COLLEGE 2
• Nationally-ranked No. 1/1 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey defeated Boston College, 3-2, in the first semifinal game of the NCAA Frozen Four.
• The game was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
• Michael Garteig made 34 saves for the Bobcats as he keyed the Bobcats to victory, including two key saves in the last 1:30 of the third period.
• Kevin McKernan, Andrew Taverner and Landon Smith all scored goals for the Bobcats in the win.
• Smith's goal stood as the game-winner, good for his 12th goal of the season
• Travis St. Denis tallied two assists for the Bobcats to tie Sam Anas with 26, good for the most on the team.
• Quinnipiac improved to 7-1 in the postseason this season and are riding a six-game winning streak.
The Bobcats In The National Polls
• The Bobcats were announced as the No. 1 team in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll on Monday, Mar. 28. The Bobcats received 22 of the 34 first-place votes.
• The Bobcats also were ranked No.1 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Poll, as announced on Monday, March 21, 2016. The Bobcats received 48 of the 50 first-place votes.
The Bobcats In The PairWise Ranking
• With their run in the NCAA East Regional, Quinnipiac remains No. 1 in the PairWise Rankings.
• The PairWise Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares all teams by these criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, and the RPI.
• For each comparison won, a team receives one point. The final PWR ranking is based on the number of points (comparisons) won. Ties are settled by the RPI.
THE BOBCATS ALL-TIME AGAINST NORTH DAKOTA
• Quinnipiac and North Dakota have met three times, with the Fighting Hawks taking all three contests.
• Quinnipiac and North Dakota have met once in the NCAA Tournament, with North Dakota taking a 4-1 decision at the West Regional in last year's tournament.

• North Dakota enters Saturday night's NCAA Championship Game with a record of 33-6-4 after a 4-2 win against Denver in the second NCAA Frozen Four semifinal game on Thursday, April 7.
• North Dakota has won 11 of its last 13 games (11-1-1) including wins against Northeastern (6-2), Michigan (5-2) and Denver (4-2) in the NCAA Tournament.
• Brock Boeser leads North Dakota in goals (26) and points (56) while his 30 assists are second on the roster.
•Drake Caggiula checks in with 23 goals and 26 assists for 49 points. Caggiula scored twice in NoDak's 4-2 win against Denver on Thursday night.

• Through 42 games, Quinnipiac has outscored its opponents 162-80, with four or more goals in 26 of its 42 games.
• With a pair of 3-0 wins at Yale and at Brown, and following a 1-0 win against UMass on Nov. 28, Quinnipias posted a shut-out in three straight games for the first time in the program's 41-year history.

• The Bobcats are one of three teams with 40 or more power play goals to date, while Sam Anas (10), Travis St. Denis (10), Tim Clifton (9), and Landon Smith (7) have combined for more power play goals (36) than 54 NCAA Division I teams.
• As a team, Quinnipiac's 46 power play goals rank third to Robert Morris' 49 and Michigan's 48.
• In Sam Anas and Travis St. Denis, Quinnipiac now has two players with 10 or more power-play goals for the third time in program history. Anas and Bryce Van Brabant were the last to do it in 2013-14.
• Through the NCAA East Regional, 18 of the 20 Quinnipiac skaters to take the ice for the Bobcats registered a point. With Kevin McKernan lighting the lamp against Boston College, 15 of the 20 skaters have scored a goal and seven of those 15 have scored multiple goals in the postseason.
• In eigth postseason games, Quinnipiac leads all NCAA Division I schools in goals (33), assists (50), points (83), power-play goals (9), power-play assists (17) and power-play points (26).
•In its last five postseason games dating back to the ECAC Hockey semifinals, Quinnipiac has out scored its last five opponents, 18-5.
• Quinnipiac is 9-for-30 (30.0%) on the power play in eight postseason games.
• Sam Anas (50 points), Travis St. Denis (48) and Tim Clifton (41), give Quinnipiac a trio of 40-point scorers for the fourth time in Quinnipiac's 18-year Division I history, including the first time since 2005-06.

• Sam Anas' 69 goals and 132 points are the most among the active career leaders among the four teams in the NCAA Frozen Field.
• Travis St. Denis' 60 career goals are second and 124 points are third among active career leaders remaining in the NCAA Frozen Four.
• Anas (63) and St. Denis (64) have the fourth and fifth most career assists among active players in the NCAA Frozen Four.
• St. Denis's 161 games played are tied with North Dakota's Drake Caggiula for the most games played by a player heading into the Frozen Four while Alex Miner-Barron (Glendora, California) is tied for seventh with 144.
• Anas (29) and St. Denis (20) have the most and second most, respectivley, career power-play goals among players in the Frozen Four.
• Michael Garteig's 78 wins and 19 shutouts are the most by active goaltenders remaining in the NCAA Frozen Four.

The Bobcats' Streak
• The Bobcats opened the season with a 17-game unbeaten streak, which was the second-longest unbeaten streak in program history, after the Bobcats posted a 21-game (18-0-3) unbeaten streak in the 2012-13 season.
• Quinnipiac's season-opening streak was the longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since Colorado College opened the 1995-96 at 15-0-3. It was also the sixth longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since 1970.
• Since its loss to Boston University on Dec. 12 to end its season-opening streak, the Bobcats went on an 11-game unbeaten streak, compiling a 6-0-5 record, before falling to St. Lawrence on Friday, Feb. 12.

• NCAA East Regional Most Outstanding Player and East Regional Goaltender
• In the postseason, he is 7-1-0 with a 1.89 GAA and a .926 save percentage. In the NCAA Tournament, he is 3-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .962 save percentage, highlighted by his 34-save performance against Boston College and a shutout against RIT in the tournament's first game.
• Only goaltender in the NCAA Tourrnament to record a shutout, coming with a 4-0 win over RIT in the first round of the NCAA East Regional.
• ECAC Hockey Third Team Selection
• ECAC Hockey All-Tournament team after posting a 4-1-0 record and stopping 113-of-125 shots on goal for the tournament.
• Season Stats: 32-3-7 with a 1.83 GAA and a .926 save percentage with seven shutouts.
• In 22 ECAC Hockey games, Garteig was 16-1-5 with a 1.97 GAA and a .920 save percentage.
• For the year, Garteig is 15-2-4 in 21 home games this season with a 1.61 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage with five shutouts.
• On the road, Garteig was 11-1-3 with a .905 save percentage and a 2.29 GAA, while his 11 road wins second among all NCAA Division I goalies.
• In 17 non-conference games, Garteig is 15-2-2 with a 1.80 GAA and a .928 save percentage.
• In 20 games against ranked opponents, Garteig was 14-2-4 with a 2.02 GAA and a .921 save percentage.

• His 19 career shutouts put him in a tie with Ben Scrivens for third in NCAA Division I hockey history, all-time. Only two goalies in NCAA history - Ryan Miller (26) and Joe Fallon (20) - have recorded more.
• His 78 career wins are 15th in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey history; only 19 goalies have reached 75 career wins, all-time.
• On Thursday, Jan. 7, Michael Garteig recorded 25 saves in a 5-0 shutout against Union. Garteig's seventh clean sheet of the year is a program single-season record - passing his record of six he set as a sophomore in 2013-14.
• Garteig's shutout against RIT made him the 13th goalie in NCAA Division I history to record eight shutouts in a single sea son. Only 11 goalies, entering 2015-16, have recorded eight or more in a season. Before Garteig and Boston College's Thatcher Demko this season, Notre Dame's Jordan Pearce was the last one to do it, recording eight in 2009.
• Against Brown, Garteig ran his shutout streak to 194:49 minutes - the longest streak in program history, passing Jamie Holden's mark of 191:19 during the 2002-03 season. It was also the 25th longest streak in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey history.
• After blanking UMass, Yale and Brown in three-straight games, Garteig became just the 20th goalie in NCAA history to post three consecutive shutouts.
• In a 3-0 win at Yale, Gartieg won his 60th career game, breaking the program record of 59 held by JC Wells '01 and Jamie Holden '05.
• Garteig's 78 career wins rank first among all active goalies.
Garteig's Honors
• Garteig was honored by the Hockey Commissioners' Association as the NCAA Division I National Player of the Month for November. The announcement from the HCA came after Garteig was named ECAC Hockey's Goalie of the Month for the second-consecutive month.
• Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for December. The Bobcats senior netminder was 4-1-0 with a .945 save percentage and a 1.25 goals-against average, leading all ECAC Hockey goaltenders in wins (4) and shutouts (2) in December.
• Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week on Oct. 27.
• He was also named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for October.
• Garteig was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List on Thursday, Oct. 8. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I goalie in the country.
Sam Anas (Jr., Left Wing, Potomac, Maryland/Youngstown Phantoms (USHL))
• Named to the NCAA Tournament All-East Region Team
• ECAC Hockey First Team Selection
• ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team after scoring two goals and assisting on three more for five points in five games.
• Became the fifth player in Quinnipiac Division I history to record 50 points in a season while his 24 goals rank fourth in Division I single-season history, passing his 2014-15 mark of 23 goals.
• Leads ECAC Hockey in points (50) and is tied for first in goals (24) while also picking up a career-best 26 assists.
• Scored the game-winning goal in the Bobcats 4-1 win over No. 8 UMass Lowell and had a power-play assist against RIT in the NCAA Tournament first round game.
• Had one goal in the Bobcats' 6-3 win against No. 15 Cornell, his third point of the postseason.
• Had a goal and an assist in Quinnipiac's ECAC Hockey Semifinal win against Dartmouth on Mar. 18, 2016.
• Is one of three players in ECAC Hockey - along with teammate Travis St. Denis (22-26) and Harvard's Jimmy Vesey (24-22) with 20 goals and 20 assists.

• With a three-point night against UMass on Saturday, Nov. 27, he became the 37th player in program history and the 23rd at the Division I level to reach 100 career points. Anas did so in his 92nd career game.
• To date, he is also one of eight players with at least 60 career goals and 60 career assists.
• His 69 career goals rank third among active players.
• His 29 career power play goals are the most among active ECAC Hockey players and second most among active players nationally.
• With his second goal against Colgate on Feb 6, Anas became the first player in Quinnipiac men's ice hockey history to score 20 goals in three-consecutive seasons. Chris Cerrella is the only other player in school history to score 20 goals in a season three times, doing so in 1997-98 (32), 1999-2000 (28) and 2000-2001 (21).
• Anas' 69 career goals are the second-most in Division I program history, breaking a tie at 68 goals with Brandon Wong '10. Ahead of Anas on Quinnipiac's Division I list is all-time leader David Marshall '10 (73).
• On the all-time list, Cerrella – having played one season at the Division III level – leads all Quinnipiac players with 99 career goals, followed by Bill Veneris '82 (92), Todd Johnson '89 (91), Jim Hanscom '80 (83) and Richard Buckholz '87 (76) who slide in ahead of Marshall's 73.
• For his career, Anas has scored 69 goals and assisted on 63 more for 132 points in 119 career games.
• He ranks eighth in career points (132) among active players while his 1.11 points per game are third behind Northeastern's Kevin Roy (1.16) and Harvard's Jimmy Vesey (1.13).
• A prolific goal-scorer, Anas has averaged 0.58 goals per game for his career, good for third among all active players while his 29 power play goals rank second.
• To date, he is also one of six active players with 65 career goals and 60 career assists.
• Anas was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
• Against Harvard on Friday, Nov. 13, Anas became the 17th Quinnipiac player all-time and 11th player at the NCAA Division I level to score 50 goals, doing so in 87 games.

• Became the ninth active NCAA men's ice hockey player to record at least 60 goals and 60 assists in a career, joining teammate Sam Anas.
• Tied for first on the Bobcats' roster in postseason points with four goals and six assists for 10 points in eight tournament games.
• Travis St. Denis has scored 22 goals and assisted on 26 more for a career-high 48 points for the season.
• Had a goal and two assists in the Bobcats' 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Friday, Mar. 11 and an empty-net goal in Game 3.
• St. Denis is one of 37 players in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey to total 40 or more points to date.
• St. Denis sits at 60 goals and 64 assists for 124 points in 161 career games, and is one of nine active players with 60 career goals and 60 career assists.
• Tied for second in ECAC Hockey in points (48), ranked fourth in assists (26) and third in goals scored (22).
• Was one of five players to score a goal in 16 or more games.

• Had two goals in the Bobcats' 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Friday, March 11.
• Had two goals and three assists in five ECAC Hockey Tournament games.
• Smith peppered in three points against Dartmouth with one goal and two assists for his first three-point game of the season.
• Smith's three-point performance was also his sixth multiple-point game of the season, and has recorded a point in six of the last seven games.
• Landon Smith enjoyed a remarkable first season with the Bobcats in 2014-15, scoring 15 goals and assisting on 16 more for 31 points in his first year of college hockey.

• Toews three-assist and three-point game was the first such game of his career.

• In 32 regular-season games, Devon Toews led all ECAC Hockey defensemen in points per game (0.79), power play assists (12), power play points (13) and plus/minus (+22).
• He was also the only ECAC Hockey defensemen with a plus/minus of 20 or higher.

• His nine assists and 10 points are second and tied for fourth, respectively, in NCAA Division I hockey for the 2016 postseason, while he also leads the nation in plus/minus (+15).
• Had one assist in the Bobcats' 4-0 win over RIT in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. His highlight reel assist was the No. 2 play in ESPN's SportsCenter's Top Plays.
• Had three assists in the Bobcats' 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Friday, Mar. 11 and two more in Game 3 for a five-assist weekend.
• Had a goal and an assist in Quinnipiac's 3-1 Semifinal win against Dartmouth.
• Had two assists in help Quinnipiac to a 4-1 win against Harvard for the 2016 Whitelaw Cup.

• Smith provided the dramatics when he cleaned up a rebound and scored the game-winner in overtime against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
• Smith found the back of the net in back-to-back games in the Bobcats' 6-0 and 4-3 wins against Princeton on Dec. 29-30.
• Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year.
• Smith sits in the Bobcats' history books as the first player in program history to have scored on his first two shots on goal, which came in his second and third collegiate games.
Soren Jonzzon (Jr., Left Wing, Mountain View, California/Youngstown Phantom (USHL))
• Scored twice in the Bobcats' 4-0 romp of RIT in the NCAA Tournament Regional.
• Jonzzon stands at 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points this season, giving him 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points for his career.
• Picked up one assist in the Bobcats 4-1 win over UMass Lowell to advance to the NCAA Frozen Four.
• Scored an empty-net goal in the Bobcats 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals and had an assist in Game 2.
• Scored in both games on Feb. 19-20, including the game-winner just 15 seconds into overtime in a thrilling 5-4 victory at No. 17 Rensselaer on Friday, Feb. 19.

2016 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship tournament top seed Quinnipiac will take on No. 3/2 North Dakota in the NCAA National Championship Game at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, Apr. 9 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

THE BOBCATS ALL-TIME IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT
• 2016 marks Quinnipiac's fifth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history, including its fourth straight after advancing to the National Championship game in 2013.
• 2016 also marks Quinnipiac's second appearance in the NCAA Frozen Four and National Championship game, where they defeated St. Cloud State before losing to Yale in the National Championship game in 2013.
• Quinnipiac's first NCAA Tournament appearance came in 2002 when it won the MAAC Championship before losing to Cornell in the NCAA First Round game, 6-1, in Worcester, Mass.
• The 2013 NCAA Tournament saw the Bobcats earn the No. 1 overall seed and win three straight games to advance to the program's first Frozen Four and finish as the National Runner-up to Yale in the Championship game.
• In 2014, Quinnipiac lost in the tournament's opening game, 4-0, to Providence in the East Regional in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
• In 2015, the Bobcats lost to North Dakota, 4-1, in the West Regional in Fargo, North Dakota.

NCAA FROZEN FOUR SEMIFINALS: QUINNIPIAC 3, BOSTON COLLEGE 2
• Nationally-ranked No. 1/1 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey defeated Boston College, 3-2, in the first semifinal game of the NCAA Frozen Four.
• The game was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
• Michael Garteig made 34 saves for the Bobcats as he keyed the Bobcats to victory, including two key saves in the last 1:30 of the third period.
• Kevin McKernan, Andrew Taverner and Landon Smith all scored goals for the Bobcats in the win.
• Smith's goal stood as the game-winner, good for his 12th goal of the season
• Travis St. Denis tallied two assists for the Bobcats to tie Sam Anas with 26, good for the most on the team.
• Quinnipiac improved to 7-1 in the postseason this season and are riding a six-game winning streak.

• The Bobcats were announced as the No. 1 team in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men's College Hockey Poll on Monday, Mar. 28. The Bobcats received 22 of the 34 first-place votes.
• The Bobcats also were ranked No.1 in the latest USCHO.com Division I Poll, as announced on Monday, March 21, 2016. The Bobcats received 48 of the 50 first-place votes.
The Bobcats In The PairWise Ranking
• With their run in the NCAA East Regional, Quinnipiac remains No. 1 in the PairWise Rankings.
• The PairWise Ranking is a system which attempts to mimic the method used by the NCAA Selection Committee to determine participants for the NCAA Division I men's hockey tournament. The PWR compares all teams by these criteria: record against common opponents, head-to-head competition, and the RPI.
• For each comparison won, a team receives one point. The final PWR ranking is based on the number of points (comparisons) won. Ties are settled by the RPI.

The Bobcats' Streak
• The Bobcats opened the season with a 17-game unbeaten streak, which was the second-longest unbeaten streak in program history, after the Bobcats posted a 21-game (18-0-3) unbeaten streak in the 2012-13 season.
• Quinnipiac's season-opening streak was the longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since Colorado College opened the 1995-96 at 15-0-3. It was also the sixth longest in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey since 1970.
• Since its loss to Boston University on Dec. 12 to end its season-opening streak, the Bobcats went on an 11-game unbeaten streak, compiling a 6-0-5 record, before falling to St. Lawrence on Friday, Feb. 12.

• In the postseason, he is 7-1-0 with a 1.89 GAA and a .926 save percentage. In the NCAA Tournament, he is 3-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .962 save percentage, highlighted by his 34-save performance against Boston College and a shutout against RIT in the tournament's first game.
• Only goaltender in the NCAA Tourrnament to record a shutout, coming with a 4-0 win over RIT in the first round of the NCAA East Regional.

• ECAC Hockey All-Tournament team after posting a 4-1-0 record and stopping 113-of-125 shots on goal for the tournament.

• On Thursday, Jan. 7, Michael Garteig recorded 25 saves in a 5-0 shutout against Union. Garteig's seventh clean sheet of the year is a program single-season record - passing his record of six he set as a sophomore in 2013-14.
• Garteig's shutout against RIT made him the 13th goalie in NCAA Division I history to record eight shutouts in a single sea son. Only 11 goalies, entering 2015-16, have recorded eight or more in a season. Before Garteig and Boston College's Thatcher Demko this season, Notre Dame's Jordan Pearce was the last one to do it, recording eight in 2009.
• Against Brown, Garteig ran his shutout streak to 194:49 minutes - the longest streak in program history, passing Jamie Holden's mark of 191:19 during the 2002-03 season. It was also the 25th longest streak in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey history.
• After blanking UMass, Yale and Brown in three-straight games, Garteig became just the 20th goalie in NCAA history to post three consecutive shutouts.
• In a 3-0 win at Yale, Gartieg won his 60th career game, breaking the program record of 59 held by JC Wells '01 and Jamie Holden '05.
• Garteig's 78 career wins rank first among all active goalies.
Garteig's Honors
• Garteig was honored by the Hockey Commissioners' Association as the NCAA Division I National Player of the Month for November. The announcement from the HCA came after Garteig was named ECAC Hockey's Goalie of the Month for the second-consecutive month.
• Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for December. The Bobcats senior netminder was 4-1-0 with a .945 save percentage and a 1.25 goals-against average, leading all ECAC Hockey goaltenders in wins (4) and shutouts (2) in December.
• Garteig was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week on Oct. 27.
• He was also named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Month for October.
• Garteig was named to the Mike Richter Award Watch List on Thursday, Oct. 8. The award is given annually to the top NCAA Division I goalie in the country.

• On the all-time list, Cerrella – having played one season at the Division III level – leads all Quinnipiac players with 99 career goals, followed by Bill Veneris '82 (92), Todd Johnson '89 (91), Jim Hanscom '80 (83) and Richard Buckholz '87 (76) who slide in ahead of Marshall's 73.
• For his career, Anas has scored 69 goals and assisted on 63 more for 132 points in 119 career games.
• He ranks eighth in career points (132) among active players while his 1.11 points per game are third behind Northeastern's Kevin Roy (1.16) and Harvard's Jimmy Vesey (1.13).
• A prolific goal-scorer, Anas has averaged 0.58 goals per game for his career, good for third among all active players while his 29 power play goals rank second.
• To date, he is also one of six active players with 65 career goals and 60 career assists.

• St. Denis is one of 37 players in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey to total 40 or more points to date.

• Second in the league with two short-handed goals.
• Second in the league with nine power play goals.
• Scored a goal in 16 games, good for second in the league.
• In 22 ECAC Hockey games, he ranked second in goals (14), assists (15) and points (29) while leading the league in power play goals (6), power play points (11), game-winning goals (4), shorthanded goals (2) and plus/minus (+22).
• In 18 games against ranked opponents, he scored seven goals and assisted on eight more for 15 points, that also included a team-high four power-play goals.
• Opened the season with a team-best seven-game goal streak, which also checked-in as the second-longest in Quinnipiac's Division I history.

• Smith peppered in three points against Dartmouth with one goal and two assists for his first three-point game of the season.
• Smith's three-point performance was also his sixth multiple-point game of the season, and has recorded a point in six of the last seven games.
• Landon Smith enjoyed a remarkable first season with the Bobcats in 2014-15, scoring 15 goals and assisting on 16 more for 31 points in his first year of college hockey.

• Toews three-assist and three-point game was the first such game of his career.

• In 32 regular-season games, Devon Toews led all ECAC Hockey defensemen in points per game (0.79), power play assists (12), power play points (13) and plus/minus (+22).
• He was also the only ECAC Hockey defensemen with a plus/minus of 20 or higher.
• Currently leads ECAC Hockey with a plus/minus of +30, one of seven players in the country with a plus/minus of +30.

• His nine assists and 10 points are second and tied for fourth, respectively, in NCAA Division I hockey for the 2016 postseason, while he also leads the nation in plus/minus (+15).
• Had one assist in the Bobcats' 4-0 win over RIT in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. His highlight reel assist was the No. 2 play in ESPN's SportsCenter's Top Plays.
• Had three assists in the Bobcats' 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals on Friday, Mar. 11 and two more in Game 3 for a five-assist weekend.
• Had a goal and an assist in Quinnipiac's 3-1 Semifinal win against Dartmouth.
• Had two assists in help Quinnipiac to a 4-1 win against Harvard for the 2016 Whitelaw Cup.
• Has blown past his 2014-15 point totals (0-5-5), accumulating seven goals and 19 assists for 26 points in 39 games this year.

• Led all ECAC Hockey defensemen with 22 assists.

• Derek Smith checks in with three goals and 13 assists for 16 points from the blue line.
• Derek Smith is fourth among ECAC Hockey defensemen with a +16 plus/minus and is one of four defensemen to block 65 or more shots (67, 4th) for the year.
• Smith provided the dramatics when he cleaned up a rebound and scored the game-winner in overtime against No. 4 Harvard at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 9.
• Smith found the back of the net in back-to-back games in the Bobcats' 6-0 and 4-3 wins against Princeton on Dec. 29-30.
• Smith totaled 13 assists in 36 games as a sophomore last year.
• Smith sits in the Bobcats' history books as the first player in program history to have scored on his first two shots on goal, which came in his second and third collegiate games.
Soren Jonzzon (Jr., Left Wing, Mountain View, California/Youngstown Phantom (USHL))
• Scored twice in the Bobcats' 4-0 romp of RIT in the NCAA Tournament Regional.
• Jonzzon stands at 10 goals and 10 assists for 20 points this season, giving him 20 goals and 20 assists for 40 points for his career.
• Picked up one assist in the Bobcats 4-1 win over UMass Lowell to advance to the NCAA Frozen Four.
• Scored an empty-net goal in the Bobcats 5-2 win against Cornell in Game 1 of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals and had an assist in Game 2.
• Scored in both games on Feb. 19-20, including the game-winner just 15 seconds into overtime in a thrilling 5-4 victory at No. 17 Rensselaer on Friday, Feb. 19.
• Jonzzon had a strong weekend at Yale and Brown, totaling two assists against the Bulldogs while also scoring in the Bobcats' win at Brown.

Bo Pieper (So., Left Wing, Roseville, Minnesota/Coquitlam Express (BCHL))
• Scored a career-high two goals against the No. 15 Cornell Big Red for the first multiple-goal and multiple-point game of his career.
• Pieper's three postseason goals are the second most on the team.
• Now has a career-high five goals to go along with four assists for nine points on the season.
• In his career, Pieper has tallied eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points.
Tanner MacMaster (So., Center, Calgary, Alberta/Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL))
• Enjoying an outstanding second season with the Bobcats with four goals and 16 assists for 20 points.
• Had three assists in the ECAC Hockey tournament.
• MacMaster entered the year with five goals and seven assists in his first season, giving him nine goals and 22 assists for 31 points in his career.
• All four of MacMaster's goals have come in the second half, to pair with eight assists for 12 points in his last 19 games.
