
QU Men's Ice Hockey Ranked No. 1 In USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll

The Quinnipiac University men's ice hockey team was ranked No. 1 for the sixth-consecutive week in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll, garnering 30 of the poll's 34 first place votes. Quinnipiac is 21-1-6 for the season, good for an NCAA Division I men's ice hockey leading .857 winning percentage. Quinnipiac is also 12-0-4 in ECAC Hockey, good for first place in the league standings.
The Bobcats were also ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division I Poll and will enter its 16th consecutive week in the top spot in the PairWise Rankings. The Bobcats are coming off a 2-2 tie against No. 17 Cornell on Friday, Feb. 5 and a 6-3 win against Colgate on Saturday, Feb. 6. Quinnipiac currently owns the longest unbeaten streak in NCAA Division I men's ice hockey, as they have posted a 6-0-4 record over their last 10 games.
Quinnipiac returns to action this weekend when it travels to the North Country to take on St. Lawrence on Friday, Feb. 12 and No. 20 Clarkson on Saturday, Feb. 13. The Bobcats will then head to Albany, New York to take on Rensselaer on Friday, Feb. 19 and Union on Saturday, Feb. 20. Quinnipiac will complete the regular season at home when it hosts Brown for Senior Night on Friday, Feb. 26 and Yale for the 14th Annual Heroes Hat on Saturday, Feb. 27. Both of those games can been seen live on SNY, where available.
