QUINNIPIAC | DARTMOUTH | HARVARD

Nationally-ranked No. 7/8 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey will resume ECAC Hockey play when it hosts Dartmouth on Friday, Nov. 11 and No. 10/10 Harvard on Saturday, Nov. 12 at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. Quinnipiac enters the weekend with a record of 5-3-1 overall and 1-1-0 in ECAC Hockey while Dartmouth is 2-0-1 overall and 1-0-1 in league action and Harvard stands at 3-0-1 with a record of 1-0-1 in ECAC Hockey play.

ON THE AIR
Nationally-ranked No. 7/8 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey's ECAC Hockey match-up against No. 10/10 Harvard on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. can be seen live on SNY in HD where available. SNY can be seen on DirecTV on Channel 639, on Comcast on Channel 1666 on Cablevision on Channel 60/202 and on Frontier on Channel 1704. The Bobcats first game on television leads a four-game package on SNY that also includes Quinnipiac's home games against Union on Dec. 3, Colgate on Jan. 13 as well as the 15th Annual Heroes Hat Game against Yale on Feb. 24. In addition, both of the Bobcats' games at the 2016 Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland will be available on American Sports Network (ASN).

QUINNIPIAC vs. DARTMOUTH
• Friday night will mark the 28th meeting between Quinnipiac and Dartmouth, with the Bobcats owning an 18-8-1 record all-time against the Big Green.
• In 14 games on the Bobcats' home ice, Quinnipiac is 12-2-0 including an 11-2-0 mark at High Point Solutions Arena and a 1-0-0 mark at the Northford Ice Pavilion.
• Quinnipiac won all three meetings against Dartmouth in 2015-16 including a 6-2 win at home on Nov. 14, a come-from-behind 7-5 win in Hanover, New Hampshire on Jan. 29 and a 3-1 win in the ECAC Hockey Tournament Semifinals in Lake Placid, New York.
• Former Quinnipiac sports information graduate assistant Patrick Salvas has been the men's ice hockey contact at Dartmouth since the start of the 2011-12 season. Dartmouth is 2-9-0 against Quinnipiac during that time.

SCOUTING THE DARTMOUTH BIG GREEN
• Dartmouth enters the weekend with an overall record of 2-0-1 including a 1-0-1 mark in ECAC Hockey play. Last weekend, Dartmouth opened league play with a 1-1 tie against Cornell before following with a 2-0 win against Colgate.
• Carl Hesler leads the Big Green in assists (2) and points (3) while Troy Crema's two goals in three games leads Dartmouth.
• In goal, Devin Buffalo is 2-0-1 with a 0.97 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage.

ALL-TIME AGAINST HARVARD
• Quinnipiac and Harvard have faced each other 27 times with the Bobcats holding a 12-11-4 record all-time against the Crimson.
• Quinnipiac defeated Harvard in all three meetings in 2015-16, including a 4-1 win in Hamden on Nov. 13, a 5-4 overtime win at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 7, a 4-1 win on Mar. 19 in the ECAC Hockey Tournament Championship Game to capture its first Whitelaw Cup.
• Quinnipiac is 6-1-3 all-time on its home ice against Harvard.

SCOUTING THE NO. 10 HARVARD CRIMSON
• Harvard enters the weekend with a record of 3-0-1 including a 1-0-1 mark in ECAC Hockey play.
• The Crimson are currently ranked 10th in the USCHO.com Division I Poll and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Poll.
• The Crimson opened the year with a weekend sweep at Arizona State (7-0 and 6-2). Last weekend, Harvard tied Colgate, 1-1, before topping Cornell, 4-3.

ACTIVE CAREER LEADERS
• Tim Clifton's 17 career power play goals rank second among all active NCAA Division I men's ice hockey student-athletes behind Omaha's Austin Ortega (21).
• Clifton also ranks tied for 23rd with 78 career points on 36 goals and 42 assists in 125 career games. His 36 career goals are tied for 16th among active players.
• Clifton's 10 game-winning goals are tied for fourth among active players.
• Clifton is one of 28 players with three or more shorthanded goals for his career.
• Landon Smith is one of six underclassmen (non-seniors) ranked among the top 34 active career scorers. Smith's 73 points come on the strength of 28 goals and 45 assists.
• Smith's 45 assists rank tied for 36th among active players.

NOW TEE-ING OFF...RAFFERTY, BROGAN
• Freshman Brogan Rafferty scored his first career goal in the Bobcats' 5-2 win against UConn on Oct. 19 while also adding an assist.
• Rafferty currently leads Quinnipiac in assists (7) and points (8) through is first nine career games.
• He enters the weekend with a goal and six assists in his last six games.

OUR FAVORITE MARTIN
• Sophomore Craig Martin has doubled his career goal output with goals in back-to-back games against Maine on Oct. 15 and UConn on Oct. 19.
• Martin picked up "Play Maker" honors in the Bobcats 5-3 win at Clarkson on Friday, Nov. 4. Martin dished out a career-high three assists in the Bobcats ECAC Hockey opening night victory.

IT'S TIMMY!!!
• Assistant captain Tim Clifton checks-in with a team-leading five goals with a point in four of Quinnipiac's nine games and is tied with Brogan Rafferty with a team-best three multiple-point games.

SHOT-BLOCKING
• Quinnipiac's forwards have combined for 66 blocked shots to date, making the Bobcats one of five teams - along with Army West Point (77), Rensselaer (73), Union (69) and St. Lawrence (65) - to block 65 or more shots to date.
• Tim Clifton (13), Scott Davidson (11), Tommy Schutt (10) and Tanner MacMaster (9) lead Quinnipiac's forwards.

• 18 of the 23 skaters to dress for Quinnipiac this season have tallied a point, with 17 of those 18 registering multiple points to date.

THAT'S VERY TRUEHL
• Quinnipiac men's ice hockey junior Chris Truehl (Madison, Wisconsin) has been named ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Month, the league office announced on Wednesday, November 2.
• Truehl has started in net during five on Quinnipiac's seven games so far this season, posting a 3-1-1 record. He owns a 2.35 goals-against average so far, making 132 saves for a .917 save percentage.

STRIKE FIRST AT HOME
Through Quinnipiac's win against UMass, Quinnipiac is also riding a 32-game (27-0-5) unbeaten streak when it scores the first goal at High Point Solutions Arena. Over the last four seasons, Quinnipiac is 51-4-8 when scoring the first goal on its home ice. All-time, Quinnipiac is 88-18-19 when it scores first on its home ice.
