Volleyball Falls To Yale, Stony Brook

In the first match against Yale, Amanda Armstrong (Waukesha, Wis.) had five kills and Kayla Lawler (Louisville, Ky.) had 13 assists. Yale took the first set, 25-17, before winning the second, 25-7, and the third, 25-22. Riker had a team-high seven digs, while Kelby Carey (Surfside, Calif.) and Tracey Wright (Fair Lawn, N.J.) were right behind Riker with six digs apiece.
Against Stony Brook, Riker led the way with 10 kills and five digs, while Wright had a team-best 13 digs. Carey also added six kills and five digs. The Seawolves won the match in straight sets, 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.
The Bobcats return to action Friday, when they play host to the Quinnipiac Invitational. After Dartmouth and Hartford get things started on Friday at 4:30 p.m., the Bobcats will entertain St. Peter's at 7 p.m. The Bobcats then face Dartmouth and Hartford, Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
