
Bobcats Drop Two Tight Contests to Marist

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game One
Marist used a five-run third inning highlighted by six hits to take the lead.
The Bobcats responded in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single from Ally Hochstadter and a Red Foxes fielding error that allowed Natalia Apatiga to score.
Jasmine Kline provided strong relief, tossing four scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and recording two strikeouts.
Quinnipiac cut the deficit to one in the sixth, scoring two runs on five hits, but were unable to complete the comeback. Kennedy DeMott recorded her 28th RBI of the season, while Hochstadter capped a four-hit performance with an RBI double.

Game Two
After four scoreless innings, Marist struck first with an RBI single.
The Bobcats answered in the bottom of the inning, as Ashley Garcia delivered an RBI single to tie the game at 1-1.

The Red Foxes regained the lead in the sixth on a sacrifice fly, the eventual game-winning run.
