
Strong Second Half Leads Bobcats to MAAC Win

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's lacrosse used a strong second half to power past Manhattan on Saturday afternoon, topping the Jaspers by the final score of 17-9 from the QU Lacrosse Stadium. The Bobcats improve to 6-5 in 2026 with the victory.
Sophomore Emma Miller-Ayala led the offensive charge for Quinnipiac, registering five goals in the victory. She also had three ground balls and three draw controls.
Mia Delmond and Julia Givens each chipped in with four goals and one assist for five points. Cate Bendowski also reached five points, dishing out a team-high total of four assists.
The Bobcats led Manhattan 8-7 at the break in action. Quinnipiac then outscored the Jaspers 4-1 in the third quarter and 5-1 in the fourth to earn the MAAC win. Mia Delmond, Emma Miller-Ayala and Julia Givens all found the back of the net twice during the second-half scoring outburst.
