Bobcats Drop Game One at Rider

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Quinnipiac softball team fell in game one of a three-game MAAC series at Rider on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After four scoreless innings, the Bobcats broke through in the fifth when Ally Hochstadter came around to score on a Rider fielding error.
The Broncs responded in the bottom half of the inning to even the score.
Quinnipiac regained the lead in the seventh, as Hochstadter singled and was later thrown out at second, allowing Mac Davis to score the go-ahead run.
Rider answered once again in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single before walking it off 3-2 on a muffed throw.
Quinnipiac moves to 10-2 in MAAC play.
