HOW IT HAPPENED
Game One
Quinnipiac struck first and never looked back, dominating offensively to secure a 13-0 run-rule win.
The Bobcats opened the scoring in the second inning. Riley Potter recorded a lead-off hit by pitch before back-to-back singles by Natalia Apatiga and Kinsley Cox loaded the bases. RBI sacrifice flies from Aryn Bombery and Mary Fogg, along with a walk and hit-by-pitch with the bases loaded, gave Quinnipiac a 4-0 lead.
Quinnipiac kept rolling once again in the third with a seven-run inning. Noelle Reid and Potter highlighted the frame with two-run doubles each, while Sofia Vega and Kennedy Demott added RBI singles.
