
QU Falls in Saturday Battle Against Marist

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse dropped a tight MAAC battle vs. Marist, 13-12, on Saturday afternoon from the QU Lacrosse Stadium.
Nate Watson led Quinnipiac with three goals and one assist. Nick Meoni also scored three times in the contest.
Evan Miner made 12 saves in front of the cage.
Quinnipiac jumped out to an early 4-1 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Red Foxes answered with five second-quarter goals, making it 6-6 at halftime.
The Bobcats led 11-8 heading into the fourth quarter of action, then Marist outscored QU 5-1 over the final 15 minutes to earn the road victory.
