Bobcats Fall to Jaspers in Pitchers Duel

Hamden, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Bobcats dropped the second game of the series to the Manhattan Jaspers, 2-1, on Saturday evening in Pomona, New York. With the loss, the Bobcats fell to 1-4 in conference play and 6-13 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bobcats got on the board first in the second inning as Jack Balcer grounded out, allowing Christian Smith to come home and score.
Manhattan found the equalizer in the bottom of the third inning as Guriyandel Salva singled home Ryan Lordier with Manhattan's first run of the contest.
The game stayed 1-1 until the seventh inning when Salva singled home Lordier with their second and final run as they held on for the 2-1 win.
