No. 5 Quinnipiac Falls to No. 11 Cornell

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 5 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team fell to No. 11 Cornell at the M&T Bank Arena on Friday night, suffering its first home loss of the 2025-26 campaign.
The Bobcats found the scoreboard courtesy of the first career goal from Ben Riche, who took a centering pass from Brady Schultz and put it into the top corner to give cut the Cornell lead to 2-1.
Cornell took control right after that, scoring two more in the second and adding a pair more in the third to earn the road victory.

- Matthew McGroarty has points in back to back contests, recording the secondary assist on the goal.
