Men's Lacrosse Drops Tuesday Contest vs. St. John's

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's lacrosse fell in non-conference action against St. John's, 20-8, on Tuesday afternoon.
Cole Marsala and Justin Robbert both registered two goals and an assist for the Bobcats.
Noah Plenn led St. John's with five goals and three helpers. The Red Storm 7-2 in the third quarter, and 6-1 in the fourth period of action.

GAME REWIND
The Red Storm led 7-5 at halftime. Cole Marsala scored twice for the Bobcats over the first half. Cole Marsala found the back of the cage to tie it 5-5 in the second quarter, then the Red Storm scored two-straight times to take the lead back right before the break.
St. John's outscored the Bobcats 13-3 in the second half. Noah Plenn scored first for the Red Storm to extend the lead to 8-5, then Quinnipiac's Justin Robbert found the back of the cage to make it 8-6. St. John's scored five straight from that point to extend the lead to seven goals. The Red Storm played to a 6-1 advantage over the final frame.

Quinnipiac returns on Saturday, Feb. 21, traveling to Bryant to continue the non-conference schedule.
