HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey program has released its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, as announced by Cassandra Turner and the Bobcats on Friday afternoon.

The non-conference slate features 12 total games with five being played at M&T Bank Arena in Hamden and seven on the road. Prior to starting the regular season, QU will host UConn in an exhibition game at M&T Bank Arena on Sept. 20.
QU will kick off its season with a two-game series against Maine, with the home-opener being Sept. 26 and the second game on Sept. 27. The Bobcats are 9-0-1 in the last 10 meetings between the two teams. They will then hit the road for the first time this season, traveling to Providence College on Oct. 3 for the first game of the weekend home-and-home series, which will conclude in Hamden on Oct. 4. The two teams split their home-and-home series a season ago with each game being decided by one goal.
The Bobcats then head to Upstate New York for the first time this season, facing Syracuse in a two-game series on Oct. 10 and 11th. QU has won its last three games against the Orange. They return home to host Northeastern for a two-game series on Oct. 17-18, looking to sweep the Huskies after splitting their series at Matthews Arena last season.
In late November, the Bobcats will face UConn in the opening round of the Nutmeg Classic (Nov. 28), and will face either Yale or Sacred Heart on Saturday, Nov. 29. The Bobcats have won the Nutmeg Classic four of the last five seasons.
QU will then head to Belfast, Northern Ireland for their final two non-conference games, first playing Boston Unversity at SSE Arena on Jan. 2 and will play either Minnesota-Duluth or Harvard in the second game on Jan. 3. The Bobcats won both of their games in the 2020 Friendship Series against Merrimack, remaining undefeated on the Emerald Isle.
