Bobcats Close Out Round Two of NCAA Regionals

GOLD CANYON, AZ - The Quinnipiac women's golf team rounded out day two of the NCAA Regionals at the Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Gold Canyon, Arizona. The Bobcats shot a 313 (+25) and will head into the final round in 12th place with a two-round total of 635 (+59).
First-year Marisa Flores had the best score of any Bobcat on the second day as she shot a 77 (+5). Flores sits in 56th place with a two-day total of 158 (+14).
Samantha Galantini shot a 78 (+6) to give her a two-round total of 160 (+16). After two rounds, Galantini sits in a tie for 58th place. Sandhya Vaikuntam replaced Fuge Zhang in the lineup and also shot a 78 (+6) in round two, putting her in 66th place.
Sophia Fujita shot an 80 (+8) in the second round to give her a two-round total of 162 (+18) as she sits in 61st place heading into the final day.
Vaidehi Shah rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping on day two with a score of 84 (+12). Shah currently sits in 60th place with a score of 161 (+17).
The Bobcats will round out play at the Gold Canyon Regional tomorrow, May 7th at the Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club.
