Bobcats Sign Winger Sindri Sigurjonsson

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's soccer has signed winger Sindri Sigurjonsson, as announced by head coach Eric Da Costa on Monday morning.
Sigurjonsson joins the Bobcats from Iceland as a first year winger and looks forward to meeting and getting to know his teammates, coaches, professors and other students as well as experiencing a culture different from Iceland.
What first drew his attention to Quinnipiac were, "the surroundings, the facilities, school reputation, and the ambitious soccer program," said Sigurjonsson.
Sigurjonsson expects to "experience growth on a personal and academic level of course to take big steps and grow as a soccer player and a valuable to team member."
