Bobcats Fall in Game One of Series to Fairfield

HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac Softball fell 2-1 this afternoon in game one of their three-game series with Fairfield University.
After holding each other scoreless for the first four innings, Fairfield broke the tie with runs in the fifth and sixth innings to make it 2-0. QU would get one run back on a Madison Waltke homer to cut the deficit in half, but it wouldn't enough as Fairfield held on.
