Bobcats Get Record 12th MAAC Win over Sacred Heart

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Quinnipiac softball team won its program record, 12th MAAC game of the season in game two of their doubleheader at Sacred Heart, splitting the series at one apiece.
In game one, QU fell behind 1-0 in the second inning and would not be able to make up the deficit. Sofia Vega and Brooke Hilliard each had a hit for the Bobcats while Sydney Horan went six innings, only allowing one run.
In game two, the Bobcats and Pioneers remained scoreless until the fifth inning. Riley Potter opened the scoring with a double to score Sofia Vega before Madison Waltke singled to score Potter. QU would hold on to win their program record 12th MAAC game of the season.
