HAMDEN, Conn. — The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell victim to a fast start from No. 4/5 Yale on Tuesday afternoon, dropping a 16-6 scoreline against the Bulldogs in Hamden.

Cate Bendowski recorded a hat trick for the second consecutive outing, scoring three goals for the second consecutive outing at home.

EllaGrace Delmond also had a great all-around day, finishing with two ground balls, two caused turnovers and three draw controls while also dishing an assist.

STATS AND NOTES

Bendowski has seven goals over the last two games currently leading the team with nine goals on the year.
Abby Wise recorded multiple points for the third consecutive game, scoring and dishing an assist in the contest.
Shannon Alden recorded 12 saves, her second consecutive outing with double-digit stops.
The Bobcats transition game cleared 21 of 23 attempts, a season-best. They also forced three failed clears from Yale.

The Bobcats continue their home stretch on Saturday afternoon, taking on New Hampshire at 3 p.m. in Hamden.
