Softball Wins Close Game Over Rider

HAMDEN, Conn. – Natalia Apatiga and Hannah Davis led the Bobcats over Rider 2-1 on Friday afternoon to begin its last MAAC series of the regular season.
QU struck first with a sacrifice fly from Natalia Apatiga which Mac Davis in the third inning. Rider got one back to even the score before Hannah Davis reached on a fielder's choice scoring Karolyn Walker.
Sydney Horan pitched five innings while allowing only one run on four hits. Horan and Jaclyn Gonzalez combined for eight strikeouts.
