Zimbardo Named To All-MAAC Second Team

EDISON, NJ – Quinnipiac Baseball senior Jared Zimbardo has been named to the All-MAAC Second Team, as announced by the league office Tuesday, May 21.
The outfielder led the Bobcats with a .353 batting average, with 67 hits in 190 at-bats. Zimbardo hit 16 doubles, three triples, and seven home runs this season as he drove in 34 RBIs. Zimbardo started all fifty games for the Bobcats this season, the only Bobcat to play in all fifty games.
The Middlesex, New Jersey native was near perfect in stolen base attempts, being successful in 26 of 27 attempts. Zimbardo finished with a .473 on-base percentage and reached base safely in 48 straight games.
Zimbardo was named the MAAC Male Student-Athlete of the Week on May 8th.
