HOW IT HAPPENED
For the second straight game against Saint Peter's the Bobcats struck first. In the bottom half of the opening frame, Jared Zimbardo came home on a wild pitch. In the second inning, Jared Zimbardo delivered with a single down the right-field line to double the lead.

Quinnipiac struck for two runs in the third inning to make it a 4-0 game. Matt DeRosa drove in Kyle Garbowski with a double to the left-center field gap to bring home the third run of the game. Gabe Wright followed up with a triple to the same gap to score DeRosa from second.

The Bobcats added two more runs in the fourth inning to extend their lead to six. CJ Willis hit a sacrifice fly to right field to bring home Zimbardo to make it 5-0. The next batter was Kyle Garbowski and he singled to left field to bring home Keegan O'Connor.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Bobcats put up a four spot to make it a 10-0 game. With the bases loaded, Kyle Garbowski hit a double to the right-field wall to clear the bases. With Garbowski on third, Christian Smith flew out to right field to bring home Garbowski with the tenth run of the game.

Saint Peter's got a run back in the seventh inning from a solo home run and a two-run single in the 8th made it 10-3. In the ninth inning, Tate Copeland came in to close the door and seal the win to even the series at one game apiece.
NEWS AND NOTES
- Six different Bobcats recorded hits in the win and eight Bobcats reached base safely.
- Kyle Garbowski led the offense, going 3-for-3 at the plate and driving in four RBIs.
- Gabe Wright (2-for-3) and Matt DeRosa (2-for-4) both drove in one run to help the offense.
- Jared Zimbardo went 1-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI.
- With his hit, Zimbardo has extended his on-base streak to 44 games.
- James Marino got the start in right field and went 2-for-4 at the plate.
- CJ Willis drove in a run and scored one run.
- Mason Ulsh got the start and went 8.0 innings and allowed just three runs, while striking out three.
