BROOKVILLE, NY – Quinnipiac Men's Lacrosse dropped its regular-season finale at LIU by the final score of 10-9 in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Tom von Bargen scored in overtime to clinch the win for the Sharks. Steven Germain, John DeLucia, Ryan Donnery and Evan Perry each had two goals in the loss for the Bobcats.

Quinnipiac will finish the regular season with a 9-4 overall record. The Bobcats went 5-4 in MAAC play, clinching a spot in the 2024 MAAC Tournament. No. 6 Quinnipiac will travel to No. 3 Manhattan for the quarterfinal round of the postseason on Saturday, April 27.

Ryan Donnery finishes the regular season with 27 goals and 27 assists for 54 points (team-high). Donnery is just four assists away from tying the Quinnipiac single-season program record for helpers (31).
Steven Germain recorded two goals and one helper for the Bobcats. He finished the regular season up with 43 points. He also grabbed a team-high six ground balls.
John DeLucia now has 28 goals over 13 games. He ranks second on the team (Dylan Donnery has 31 goals).
Evan Perry scored twice to raise his season goal total to 11.
Jarrod Davis caused three turnovers, while Dylan Donnery and Nick Meoni each caused a pair of miscues.
QU is now 1-2 vs. LIU (series since 2020).
