Softball Earns Doubleheader Spilt, Series Win Over Mount

EMMITSBURG, MD – The Quinnipiac Softball team battled to a double header split with the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Sunday, April 14^th in Maryland.

In game one, Mount St. Mary's held a 5-0 lead through six innings until two runs came home on a fielding error.

In game two, the Bobcats offense was on fire as they scored 14 runs, which is good for the highest amount of runs they scored in a game this season. Sydney Horan picked up her sixth win of the season after pitching 7.0 innings and striking out five.
