QU Falls To NJIT Despite Seven Scoreless Innings From Ulsh

LITTLE FALLS, NJ – The Bobcats fell to the NJIT Highlanders, 3-2 in 10 innings, on Saturday night to even the series a one game apiece.
The Bobcats will fall to 10-21 on the season, while the Highlanders will improve to 12-18 overall on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After no runs were scored in the first two innings, the Bobcats struck for two runs in the top of the third inning. CJ Willis recorded an RBI groundout which scored Zimbardo for the first run of the ballgame. Later in the inning, Matt DeRosa reached on a fielder's choice to bring home Keegan O'Connor.
The game stayed 2-0 until the bottom of the eighth inning as NJIT got a run from a sacrifice fly to center field to make it a 2-1 game.
With the game on the line in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Highlanders launched a solo home run to push the game into extra innings.
After the Bobcats went scoreless in the top of the tenth inning, Albert Choi ended the game with a solo homer to left center and give NJIT the 3-2 win.
