Bobcats Drop Season Opener To Liberty

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Quinnipiac baseball team fell in their season opener to the Liberty Flames, 10-0, on Friday evening.
The Bobcats open the three-game series with a loss to Liberty, but will look to bounce back tomorrow, Feb. 17, at 2 PM.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Flames took a three-run lead in the first inning as Camden Troyer launched a three-run home run of Jimmy Hagan.
The Flames added two more runs in the bottom of the third inning, one on a wild pitch and one on an error. Liberty would add two more runs in the fourth inning on a two-run single from Cam Foster.
Todd Hudson blasted a three-run shot in the bottom of the sixth inning to give the Flames a 10-0 lead.
