No. 10/11 Bobcats Down Syracuse at Home

HAMDEN, Conn. – Four different players scored to lift the Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team over Syracuse 4-0 on Friday evening.
The Bobcats came out flying, scoring three goals in the first period. The first came from Maddy Samoskevich on a tip in front on the power play.
Maya Labad then skated through three Syracuse defenders to bury the second of the game.
Laurence Frenette added another after a feed from Tessa Holk to push the lead.
Zoe Uens chipped in with one more late in the second period to seal it.

The Bobcats will host Syracuse for the second game of the series tomorrow at 3:00 PM in Hamden, Conn. at M&T Bank Arena.

- Felicia Frank notched her second shutout of the season in her second career start.
- Nine different Bobcats recorded a point.
- Maddy Samoskevich scored her fourth power-play goal of the season, leading all scorers nationally.
- Maya Labad scored her fifth goal of the season to lead the Bobcats.
