O'Connor Rakes His Way to MAAC Player of the Week

EDISON, N.J. — Junior Keegan O'Connor recorded a home run in every game this weekend, en route to a 12-for-19 series at the plate against Hartford over the weekend as the Bobcats took three of four over the Hawks.
The Andover, Mass., native continued a red-hot stretch, recording a hit in 12 of his last 13 contests after a multi-knock performance in all four games against their in-state foes. He batted .632 on the weekend, added three doubles, two stolen bases and 10 RBI.
In Game 2 Saturday, all three of O'Connor's hits were for extra bases, lacing a pair of doubles and roping his third home run of the weekend.
He's having a career year in the power department, mashing 11 home runs and driving in 42 RBI, while slugging .570. The 11 homers are more than triple last year's output, while he's two RBI from doubling his 2022 total.
The Bobcats return to the diamond on Thursday afternoon for the first of three against Saint Peter's on Senior Weekend. Quinnipiac ends its home regular season on Tuesday afternoon with a 1 p.m., first pitch against Sacred Heart.
