- The Pioneers are 25-23 all-time against the Bobcats
- SHU has won eight of its last 10 contests against Quinnipiac
- Tuesday marks the first contest between the two sides since the 2014 campaign
- The last time these two sides faced off, SHU came away with an 11-4 victory over QU on May 13, 2014

- He struck out eight batters in the outing
- It marked the second complete game of the season for Seitter
- QU baseball head coach John Delaney announced a new team member, signing six-year-old Cameron Wilson through Team IMPACT in a press conference held in the Mount Carmel Campus Rec Center on Feb. 12, 2022
- He will participate in many activities with the baseball team over the next two years, including games, practices, and other team events
