HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac baseball team wraps regular season play this week, as the Bobcats play host to Sacred Heart on Tuesday at 1 p.m. before traveling to take on Siena for a three-game set beginning on Thursday.

HISTORY VS. SACRED HEART

The Pioneers are 25-23 all-time against the Bobcats
SHU has won eight of its last 10 contests against Quinnipiac
Tuesday marks the first contest between the two sides since the 2014 campaign
The last time these two sides faced off, SHU came away with an 11-4 victory over QU on May 13, 2014

SAINT ANTHONY DONOFRIO

Anthony Donofrio was the lone Quinnipiac player to earn All-MAAC Preseason honors heading into 2023
Donofrio is batting .363 on the season, which leads the team and sixth in the MAAC
His 70 hits on the season ranks second in the MAAC
Donofrio leads the team with 16 doubles, 13 homers and 55 RBIs
His 13 homers is tied for seventh in the MAAC
His 55 RBIs ranks second in the conference
Donofrio boasts 131 career hits in 92 games
His 26 steals on the season is tops in the MAAC and is tied for the program record for most steals in a single season
In a 4-0 weekend for the Bobcats at UMES, Donofrio batted .412 with seven hits, including two doubles, two homers, and six RBIs

QU baseball head coach John Delaney announced a new team member, signing six-year-old Cameron Wilson through Team IMPACT in a press conference held in the Mount Carmel Campus Rec Center on Feb. 12, 2022
He will participate in many activities with the baseball team over the next two years, including games, practices, and other team events
