QU's Offense Explodes For 27 Runs in Win vs. Saint Peter's
With the win, the Bobcats record goes to 22-24 overall and 11-8 in the MAAC, while the Peacocks fall to 8-39 and 4-18 in conference play on the 2023 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Kyle Maves kicked off the offense for the Bobcats in the third inning with a single to right center field to score Jared Zimbardo from second. With two runners on, Keegan O'Connor sent one over the right center field wall for a three-run home run to stretch the Bobcats' lead to 4-0. After Braydon Seaburg drew a walk, Sean Swenson drove him home with a two-out double down the left field line to make it a five run lead for Quinnipiac.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, Anthony Donofrio stepped into the box with runners on first and second before delivering with a two-out single through the right side to drive home Swenson with Quinnipiac's sixth run of the game. Sebastian Mueller came up with two runners on and hit a grounder into the hole to beat out a single and score McGwire Tuffy to make it a 7-0 Bobcats advantage. O'Connor came up again with a big two-out hit to score two more runs and extend the lead to nine.
After Zimbardo walked to load the bases in the seventh inning, Anthony Donofrio singled through the infield to score two more Bobcats to make it an 11-0 lead. The next batter, Sebastian Mueller, ripped one right back up the middle to score Zimbardo for their 12th run of the game. With two outs in the inning, Maves drove one into right center field for a double to bring home another run in the inning. O'Connor stepped into the box and delivered with his fourth hit of the game to bring home another two runs to make it a 15-0 game.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, John Heitzman came up as a pinch hitter a delivered with single to bring in run number 16 of the day. The offense wasn't going to stop as Sebastian Mueller homered to right field to make it a 18-0 lead for the Bobcats. With the bases loaded, Sean Swenson drove one over the center field fence for a grand slam. James Marino came up for the second time of the inning and came through with an RBI single through the right side to make it a 23-0 lead for Quinnipiac. For the second time of the inning, Mueller left the building with a grand slam to make it 27-0 Bobcats.

- Mason Ulsh finished his outing throwing seven scoreless innings allowing just five hits and striking out nine Peacocks.
- Keegan O'Connor continued his hot stretch going 4-for-5 with a home run and drove in seven RBIs.
