HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac baseball team is back in action this week with a three-game series against Saint Peter's. They will play two games in Hamden before heading to New Britain, Connecticut to play game three.

SAINT ANTHONY DONOFRIO

Anthony Donofrio was the lone Quinnipiac player to earn All-MAAC Preseason honors heading into 2023
Donofrio is batting .344 on the season, which is second on the team and 13th in the MAAC
His 62 hits on the season ranks second on the team
Donofrio leads the team with 13 homers and 50 RBIs
His 13 homers ranks fourth in the MAAC
His 50 RBIs ranks second in the conference
Donofrio boasts 123 career hits in 89 games
In a 4-0 weekend for the Bobcats at UMES, Donofrio batted .412 with seven hits, including two doubles, two homers, and six RBIs
Donofrio boasted a slugging percentage of .882% and recorded five runs scored in the series sweep over UMES
He tallied at least a hit in each contest, including two in all but one contest.

Kevin Seitter is enjoying his best season as a senior
Seitter leads the team in wins (5), complete games (2), ERA (4.43), innings pitched (67.0), and strikeouts (55)
In his start vs. Mount St. Mary's on April 30, Seitter earned the win after allowing two earned runs on five hits over 9.0 innings pitched
He struck out eight batters in the outing
It marked the second complete game of the season for Seitter

QU baseball head coach John Delaney announced a new team member, signing six-year-old Cameron Wilson through Team IMPACT in a press conference held in the Mount Carmel Campus Rec Center on Feb. 12, 2022
He will participate in many activities with the baseball team over the next two years, including games, practices, and other team events

NEXT TIME OUT

The Bobcats will be back in action on Tuesday, May 16, when QU plays host against Sacred Heart at 1 p.m.
